About us

Muddy's Bake Shop owner Kat Gordon says her shop provides "Lovin' from the oven," a slogan that comes to life in the form of cupcakes. It's an irresistibly happy place that smells good and feels good, an oasis of funky pleasure in East Memphis. Besides being delicious, Muddy's is also green and community-oriented. Its eggs come from cage-free or free-range hens, and organic whole milk is used. No Styrofoam and no tips: If you toss your change in the jar, it'll go to a local nonprofit group. You get both good taste and good vibes in one visit.
